I was crowned Miss Arlington 2008 on December 1st 2007. The Miss Arlington Pageant is a local preliminary to the Miss Virginia Pageant and part of the Miss America Organization.

Miss America is the largest provider of scholarships for women in the world. It is an organization dedicated to fostering intelligent, talented, focused young women who are driven to make a difference in their community.

One of the biggest ways contestants are working for charity is through the Children's Miracle Network, the official platform of the Miss America Organization. Find out more about how you can help a child in need.

In addition, I have adopted an organization I founded called "Positive Role Models Building Powerful Women" (Pos-Pow) to be the mainstay of my personal community service platform as Miss Arlington, "Breaking Stereotypes, Building Leaders". I will be spending this year promoting my platform and preparing for the Miss Virginia Pageant which will be held in Roanoke in June.
