  Pos-Pow Overview

I founded Pos-Pow as student organization in 2005 while I was a student at Penn State. I became Miss Pittsburgh 2006 in October 2005 and adopted Pos-Pow as my platform to promote in Pittsburgh and across the state of Pennsylvania.

After completing my year of service as Miss Pittsburgh, I was crowned Miss Blue Ridge Mountains,VA 2007. I have since introduced Pos-Pow to a variety of schools and organizations in Virginia and I'm honored to say that it will be adopted as the community service platform for the first professional women's hockey league in the US currently under development as part of the Professional Development Hockey League.NEW PDHL Website

There are currently over 100 active Pos-Pow mentors who have worked with children of every age and background; from 2nd graders at a wealthy private school, to 18-year-old ex-gang members in a group home.
