Trip to the United Nations World Headquarters in NYC- I was invited to represent Pos-Pow for the launching of the Redlight Children Campaign against child sexploitation at the United Nations World Headquarters in New York City. Pos-Pow Vice President, Nikki Solivan, and Pos-Pow mentor, Will Adams, were able to join me for the trip as well. It was an amazing experience to be in the same room as so many others dedicated to making a global change!
High Fashion Photo Shoot- The stylists who did Miss Golden Triangle, Rachel Brooks, and my hair had some fun with a crazy hair photo shoot!
Pittsburgh Penguins- Hockey, my FAVORITE sport! I was a guest for the Pens-Caps game.. Pens won!
Hands On Pittsburgh- This weekend, as part of Pittsburgh Cares, I was a day buddy at the Center for Creative Play and also a guest storyteller at an inner-city elementary school.
Butler County Humane Society- I was invited to be a guest speaker at the BCHS fundraising festival. I also helped out at the bake sale... I baked my own goodies but I think I ate more than I sold!
TV and Radio Shows- I was invited to be a guest on KDKA's "Pittsburgh Today Live" TV show and Robert Smith's "Disabilities Update" radio show. Both were wonderful experiences and opportunities to promote my personal platform and the Miss America Org. Also included in this album are various meetings I also had that day to form partnerships.
Pittsburgh Autism Walk-Included in both Autism Walk albums are local titleholders such as Mary Kaye Jacono, Miss Philly, and Rachel Brooks, Miss Golden Triangle. Rachel's platform is "Autism Awareness" and she coordinated the titleholders for the walks. Such an amazing group of women!

Pittsburgh Children's Hospital- I was blessed with the opportunity to visit the Pittsburgh Children's Hospital numerous times during my reign. I went there to try to put a smile on a child's face and I think I ended up with a bigger grin then they did! View "Thank You" Letter
Special Olympics- Miss Berks County, Carmen Bloom, worked to coordinate local titleholders to volunteer for the Special Olympics. It was a wonderful experience that really put into perspective the importance of volunteering.
Spikes Minor League Baseball- I was invited to be a guest and throw the first pitch for the State College Spikes minor league baseball team. My wind-up for the pitch was stellar... but the ball didn't even make it to the plate. Well, I never said baseball was my sport! I was also given a booth to display information on Pos-Pow. It was definitely a fun night!
Positive Role Models Building Powerful Women (Pos-Pow)- These are pictures of my work with my platform, Pos-Pow . Included are pictures from various school workshops and an event called Girls Night Out. GNO is an all night sleep-over for 8th grade girls to prepare them for the pressures of high school. I was the keynote speaker.
Penn State Homecoming Parade- Miss Philly 2006, Mary Kaye Jacono (another PSU grad), and I rode together in the PSU Homecoming 2006 parade.
Various- Various pictures from random events through the year.
Miss Pennsylvania Pageant- a week of Miss PA craziness with pics from competition, fun with other contestants, family, friends, and supporters!
